Biography:

Jeff Stibel has served as Chief Executive Officer of LegalZoom since July 2024 and has been a member of the company’s board of directors since October 2014, serving as Chairman since October 2018. He has been a partner of Bryant Stibel & Company, an investment and strategic advisory platform, since January 2013. He also serves on the boards of a number of privately held companies and nonprofit organizations.

Jeff is a USA Today columnist and the author of the New York Times bestseller Breakpoint (Macmillan, 2013) and Wired for Thought (Harvard Business Press, 2009). He previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corporation from July 2010 to July 2015, and as Vice Chairman of Dun & Bradstreet Corporation (NYSE) from July 2015 to March 2018. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Web.com, Inc. (Nasdaq). From December 2006 to January 2019, he served as a member of the board of directors of AutoWeb, Inc. (Nasdaq).

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, philosophy, and cognitive science from Tufts University and a master’s degree in cognitive science from Brown University, where he received a Brain and Behavior Fellowship while pursuing doctoral studies. He also received an honorary Doctor of Business degree from Pepperdine University.
