Composer Philip Glass will resurrect his epic score, “Music in Twelve Parts,” for an exclusive performance at UCLA’s Royce Hall this spring. Composed for his ensemble between 1971–1974, the piece is considered one of the most powerful musical works of the 20th century. Never before performed in Los Angeles, the piece is comprised of four segments and, with an hour-long dinner break, will span nearly five hours.
