Ray Eames and her husband Charles Eames are responsible for a plethora of iconic designs of the 20th century. The couple, who settled in Los Angeles after meeting at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, greatly influenced the architectural climate of Los Angeles. A huge collection of Ray’s furniture, process drawings, photographs, paintings, sketches, films, and letters are on display at the Alice de Roulet Williamson Gallery at the Art Center College of Design’s Hillside Campus in Pasadena through May 4. / aplusd.org
