Jackson Pollock is best known for his “drip style” splattered paintings, but there was one piece that preceded them all – Mural, a painting commissioned by Peggy Guggenheim, measuring 8ft x 20ft. The free exhibit explores Pollock’s transition from representational paintings to the drip style which became the artist’s calling card. On display through June 1.
