Heidi Mitchell has been a journalist and editor for more than 20 years, contributing to publications such as the New York Times, Vogue, Fast Company, Departures, the New York Post, and Surface. She is a special correspondent for Travel + Leisure, where she worked as an editor for six years, and is a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, penning “The Burning Question” column for the past seven years. Her last desk job was at Town & Country Travel, where she served as editor in chief. She splits her time between Chicago, Connecticut, and United Airlines.
