Doug Kobak, CFP®, brings over twenty-five years of extensive experience and a multi-disciplinary background to the table. Doug founded Main Line Group Wealth Management in 2009 to provide high net worth individuals, professional athletes and entertainers, and entrepreneurial clients with comprehensive advisory services, as well as the direct access and independent vision needed in today’s investment environment.

Doug’s planning expertise consists of more than twenty years as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™. He is also a member of the Philadelphia area Financial Planning Association (FPA). Prior to launching Main Line Group, Doug spent seventeen years at Citigroup as a SVP and Advisor within Citi Family Office, an elite group within Citigroup focused on the firm’s top clients. During this period Doug worked with business executives at both public and private companies on their personal and business goals, and successfully managed more than $250 million in client assets.
Prior to his years at Citigroup, Doug began his career at Lehman Brothers on their institutional and proprietary trading desks, where he gained extensive trading knowledge and experience. He also went through their MBA program, spending time in the different areas of the Capital Markets.
Doug has been named as one of the top 25 Wealth Advisors in the Philadelphia region by Barron’s and the Philadelphia Business Journal. He and his family reside in the Main Line area of Suburban Philadelphia, where Doug is an active member of the community and involved with several local and philanthropic organizations, including coaching track & field for Special Olympics athletes. When he is not at one of his three kid’s activities, he enjoys playing tennis, golf and running.
