Along with partner Toscana Resort Castelfalfi, CSQ co-hosted “An Evening in Italy” (an Art of the Connoisseur’s series event) at Scarpetta Los Angeles within Montage Beverly Hills.
The event showcased experiences celebrating the art of living in Tuscany, Italy. The meticulously restored 800-year-old Tuscan travel and residential destination resort was recreated in an intimate evening, giving guests an Italian escape in Beverly Hills.
La Rocca di Castelfalfi’s Michelin-starred Executive Chef Michele Rinaldi flew in from Tuscany to personally prepare some of his specialties, sharing the kitchen with Scarpetta’s executive chef.
Piccini Wines accompanied the five-course dinner personally prepared by the two chefs – featuring such dishes as Snapper Crudo with preserved lemon, artichokes, and baby croutons; and Pancetta Wrapped Duck Breast with spring onion puree, morels, and fegato.
Guests included senior leadership from Sony Pictures, Crystal Cruises, Ziffren Brittenham, The Auto Gallery, among others. Renowned Philanthropist Louise Taper and her husband Doug Walker were also in attendance. The evening was filled with intriguing conversation and engagement. Toscana Resort Castelfalfi gifted a 3-night stay at the Tuscany Resort and David and Esther Renzer (Chairman, Spirit Music Group) were the lucky winners. Montage Beverly Hills was also involved in the gifting for the evening as Sean Kelly (CEO, HUMAN Healthy Vending) and his wife Shannon were the recipients of a 2-night stay.
