It was apparent at the third annual LA Tech Summit that Los Angeles has become one of the fastest-growing technology hubs in the country. According to Adam Miller, founder and CEO of Cornerstone OnDemand, the ecosystem will continue to thrive because of three coinciding factors in LA – a willing investor base, experienced talent in all aspects of technology (Big Data, e-commerce, B2B, cloud, media, and more), and experienced entrepreneurs willing to advise startups.
The Northern Trust Open is one of the longest-running tournaments on the PGA TOUR. Debuting in 1926 at LA Country Club, the event had been staged at various courses throughout the Los Angeles area before permanently settling at The Riviera Country Club in 1973.
CSQ'S 2016 Visionaries in Innovation & Technology Awards, co-hosted by Rob Lloyd, CEO of Hyperloop Technologies, Inc. honors leadership from the region including Rob, Chuck Davis, Bruce Meyer, Jason Nazar, Joachim Splichal, the region's disruptors, CSQ's NextGen 10.4, and more.
The evening started at 4:00pm with a ceremonial tee shot by Jack Nicklaus, Dennis Haysbert, Craig T. Nelson, and Nick Dallas (tenured member’s son), followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the brand new Grove Bar.
