Andrew Rossow is a cyber attorney, brand impact consultant, and news journalist based in Austin, Texas. As Principal of Rossow Law and CEO of AR Media Consulting, he helps clients—from individuals to Fortune 500 companies—navigate digital reputation, brand identity, and ethical concerns with emerging technologies. His legal focus spans cybersecurity, child safety & online crime, consumer privacy, and crypto regulation, with insights featured in Bloomberg Law, Forbes, BBC World News, Mashable, NASDAQ TradeTalks, and Fast Company, among others. His critically acclaimed 2017 thesis, “Gotta Catch…A Lawsuit?,” examined the early legal challenges of augmented reality gaming, particularly Pokémon Go, and received recognition from Harvard, Purdue, UPenn, Deloitte, and The Herjavec Group. This work shifted his career trajectory toward combining legal practice with ethical storytelling and social advocacy. Rossow founded #CYBERBYTE®, a digital PSA campaign connecting Hollywood talent and business leaders with their audiences to combat online bullying, empower victims, and amplify underrepresented voices. He contributed to Ohio’s cybersecurity legislation through the CyberOhio Initiative and continues to advocate for stronger anti-bullying legislation. During the pandemic, Andrew doubled down on his commitment to community, launching AR Media Consulting, a brand impact consultancy to help small businesses and individuals maintain relevance and drive measurable social change. Today, he continues to consult with companies of all sizes on legal and creative social impact strategies, helping clients find their “why” and protect their creative autonomy.
