NFL Finalizes 11-Year Broadcasting Rights Deal Worth More Than $100B

Amazon wins rights for Thursday nights with the new agreements giving fans more options to watch the season.

The National Football League has closed on broadcast rights with networks and streamers through 2033. Reports put the total from the deals, which go into effect in 2023, at more than $100B. Existing partners CBS, ESPN, ABC, and NBC will continue to broadcast games, including on related streaming services. Amazon gained exclusive rights for Thursday Night Football, starting in 2023. The 10-year deal is worth approximately $1B. As part of its deal with the NFL, ABC gained broadcast rights for two Super Bowl games.
