TED, famous for global conferences surrounding their “ideas worth spreading” slogan, celebrates three decades of spotlighting Technology, Entertainment, and Design. In recognition of the milestone, and the changing times, TED will be relocating from their usual locale in Long Beach to Vancouver, Canada. TED talks by a litany of great thinkers, doers, and speakers have garnered hundreds of millions of views online, but the most popular of all (more than 14,850,000 views) is Sir Ken Robinson’s 2006 entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.
