The Chef’s Vision is actually more a team effort according to owner Alex Sarkissian, where the kitchen team bounces ideas off one another. The ones that click make their way to the menu; the best way to describe the resulting cuisine is “Modern Mediterranean” (hence, the restaurant’s namesake), incorporating regional cuisines that saddle the eastern arc of the Mediterranean, from Greece to Morocco.
Works of Art, the Duck “Shawarma,” Shortrib Tagine, Lemon Chicken with Za’Atar, the Lamburger, and of course, the hot and cold “mezze” offerings that include AVOCADO hummus, Muhammara, Greek meatballs and shrimp saganaki. This is also one of the only places in L.A. where you will find “Pides,” a Turkish flatbread pizza offered with different topping combinations.
