Norman Aynbinder '21 Contributor Since 2021

Norman started his career in management consulting at Arthur Andersen and Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C., supporting public-private partnerships in the revitalization of local areas. After launching a non-profit job training center that helped ex-offenders transition into the hospitality industry, his passion for the industry and its potential to transform cities and workforces became more acute. Norman co-founded Excursionist in 2010, focusing on experiential travel for younger luxury consumers. He expanded this brand into a major regional destination management company, which has become the leading on-the-ground tour operator for immersive luxury travel into the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Clients have included Fortune 50 CEOs, celebrities, heads of State, royalty and major corporations. Norman holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Relations and Political Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU. He lives in Miami with his husband Elan and is active in local non-profit causes and is a member of the local Miami board of Human Rights Watch.
