The NBA could be moving toward using cryptocurrency tools. A six-person group of owners has formed the Blockchain Advisory Subcommittee to see how blockchain could be utilized by the league, according to sports business website Sportico, which broke the news. The group is said to include Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Washington Wizards owner Ted Leonsis, and Brooklyn Nets owner Joseph Tsai, all advocates of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The NBA has not yet confirmed the news.
