Katherine Gibbard, PhD '25 Contributor Since 2025

Dr. Katherine Gibbard is a Research Scientist on the SAP SuccessFactors Growth and Insights team researching the future of work to inform product development, marketing, and strategy. She has deep expertise leading AI research efforts, with a PhD in the trust and adoption of generative AI solutions. Katherine currently leads several global AI research streams including an AI x HR Think Tank and AI business impact research quantifying the value of SAP SuccessFactors’ suite of AI solutions. Other focus areas include skills-based HR practices, employee experience, and HR trends. Katherine regularly presents keynotes and workshops at HR Connect events, Executive User Groups, and Unleash HR as well as presenting at leading academic conferences such as the Society of Consulting Psychology, the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Katherine has a proven research track record with 26 published papers and peer-reviewed conference proceedings, 11 of which are first-author contributions. She actively engages with the academic and broader HR community by publishing research reports, blogs, and presenting continuing education sessions for HR practitioners.
