Jalal Taby '19 C-Suite Advisor Since 2019

Jalal Taby is a Senior Vice President with Comerica’s Bank in Southern California. Mr. Taby manages a portfolio of middle-market commercial banking clients and is responsible for new business development. Jalal’s portfolio consists of privately held companies and companies owned by Private Equity Groups.  He is also a member of the Food and Beverage lending unit of the Bank and co-leads the financial sponsor coverage for Comerica in Southern California.  

Previously, Mr. Taby was a Relationship Manager with Fifth Third Bank in Michigan where he built and managed a portfolio of lower middle market clients. Prior to that role, he spent 3 years at Comerica Bank in Michigan and went through the Comerica Credit training program. 

Mr. Taby received his Masters in Finance from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. He has been an active member in the Association for Corporate Growth and sits on its Los Angeles chapter board. He also serves as the chair of the membership committee for ACG LA. Active volunteer for Junior Achievement, a charitable organization that teaches business skills to underprivileged students.
