TopGolf Starts Work on Southern California Complex

Company will renovate a nine-hole course in El Segundo.

Topgolf Entertainment Group, the company behind the tech-focused golf, games, and dining Topgolf sites, is expanding into metropolitan Los Angeles. Topgolf is renovating a nine-hole court in El Segundo, adding new lights for night games and updating the clubhouse. The Lakes at El Segundo sits just off Pacific Coast Highway. Callaway Golf Company acquired TopGolf last year for approximately $2B and is expanding its offerings. The El Segundo project, set to open next year, is one of four in the works by the company, including another Southern California site in Ontario.
